NYC Music Services operates this website. This notice explains how we handle information when you visit the site or contact us. Notation Central and Scoring Notes have their own privacy notices.
When you contact us
Our inquiry form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the nature of your inquiry, and your message. You may also provide an organization or affiliation. We use this information to respond to you and discuss or carry out our work together.
We retain correspondence as part of our business records, including information relating to projects and professional relationships. To ask about information you have provided, or request its correction or deletion, contact philip@nycmusicservices.com. We will consider your request in light of our ongoing work and applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Security and hosting
Our hosting and email services process information needed to operate the website and deliver messages. Server logs may include connection details such as IP addresses, requested pages, and the time of a visit.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish legitimate inquiries from automated submissions. Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser and connection for this verification. Read Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information.
Website analytics and your choices
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use this website. It uses cookies to measure visits and page use and processes technical information about your browser and device. We do not send the contents of inquiry forms to Google Analytics.
Analytics stays off until you choose “Allow analytics.” You can decline and still use the website, or change your choice through “Privacy choices” in the footer. We remember your choice in this browser for 180 days. If you withdraw permission, we stop analytics and remove its first-party cookies from this site. This does not erase data already collected by Google.

The paper weight calculator
The Resources page includes a calculator provided by Omni Calculator. It loads only when you choose “Load calculator.” Loading it connects your browser to Omni, whose embedded tools may use cookies and collect usage information. You can instead follow the link to use the calculator on Omni’s website. Read Omni’s privacy policy. Loading the calculator is separate from your analytics choice; reloading or leaving the page closes the embedded tool.
