Transcriptions and takedowns

Transcribing music by ear is one of the most difficult musical tasks, and it just happens to be our specialty. Here is just one example of our work for the movie “Hollywoodland”.

The studio wished to use the original Superman TV theme, as heard here, for which no written score existed:


We transcribed the original theme and arranged it for full orchestra, and it was our version that was re-recorded and used in the film:
