Copying and engraving

music
We produce music notation using the latest versions of the Finale and Sibelius programs, and we also maintain earlier versions of the software should they be needed.

We can accept your file in a variety of formats, sizes, ensembles, and notations. Once received, our approach can include any of the following:
  • Score and part preparation from a handwritten score, a computer generated score, or a MIDI file.
  • Score cleanup and part extraction for scores created in Finale or Sibelius format.
  • PDF creation of score and parts for printing at your location.
  • In-house printing, binding and stapling with express shipping to your location.
By working with your style manual or by creating one for you, our attention to detail ensures that your music will be properly showcased.

Transpositions

Someone to Watch Over Me
If your favorite song is in E-flat, but you need it in A-flat for your make-or-break audition, please contact us. We can take any piece of music and transpose it to any key.

We have transposed everything from standard lead sheets to full orchestral opera scores. Of course, we can transpose instrumental parts as well (i.e., trumpet in D to trumpet in B-flat).

With our state-of the-art software, we can even take existing audio files and transpose them while maintaining the tempo. This is perfect if, for instance, you have an existing recorded arrangement and just need it down a step to hit the high notes.

File translation

finsib
We can translate Finale files to Sibelius, and vice versa, using the Dolet software via MusicXML. This produces far more accurate and usable results than MIDI or ETF importing. Contact us for more details.
